How do I make scrolling text with a transparent background?
Choose WebM export and enable the transparent-background option. The file contains VP9 Alpha; your footage stays visible underneath when the receiving app supports that transparency format. Some editor versions or import paths show a black background instead. Test a short overlay in your editor before exporting the full design.
Can I export scrolling text as a GIF or video (WebM)?
Yes. Export a looping GIF for universal compatibility or a WebM video for higher quality and smaller size, including a transparent-background WebM. Websites can use the embed code instead of a file.
How do I add scrolling text to CapCut or other editors?
Export your caption as a GIF or WebM, then import it on a track above your footage. Format and transparency support depend on your editor and version. If WebM Alpha shows black, export with a solid green or blue background not used in your design and apply Chroma Key. Soft glow edges may change with keying.
Is the HTML marquee tag still supported?
The marquee tag is obsolete in modern HTML standards and browsers may drop it at any time. Use a CSS animation or a generated embed snippet instead — this tool provides the embed option.
